Ambassadors on TV!

Three Gower Ambassadors have been spotted on Television in 2018

Helen Nicholas

Ambassador Helen Nicholas was seen on BBC programme ‘Hidden Wales With Will Millard’. Helen was called upon to talk on the show due to her extensive local knowledge of history, and the area. Helen is part of the team at Gower Unearthed who offer visitors guided tours of Gower whilst telling them about the history and local myths and legends of the area.

Suzanne Morrison

Ambassador Suzanne Morrison who owns disabled friendly accommodation Bramwood Holiday Home has been campaigning for Caswell Bay to get a ‘Changing Places’ changing room fitted so that adults with disabilities who visit the area and want to take part in activities have a place where they can get changed in privacy and with dignity.

Suzanne’s son John (who is a wheelchair user and who is affected by Cerebral Palsy) and his friend Kai went Surfing with Surfability Wales at Caswell to raise awareness for the need of a Changing Place facility.

This was filmed and featured in an episode of ITV Coast & County. Suzanne was wearing her Gower Ambassador fleece in the episode and spoke passionately about why she believed there should be a facility there.
