About the Author:
Stuart Gammon is an adventurer, paddleboarder, and author. After working as a service engineer for 25 years, Stuart decided to change direction in life and pursue his passion for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). He became a certified SUP instructor and had since taught over 3000 people how to SUP.
Stuart’s passion for paddleboarding has taken him on many incredible adventures. In 2019, he embarked on a six-month SUP tour of Mexico, taking clients on whale and dolphin tours and chasing sunsets on stand-up paddleboards in the bay of Banderas. This was an unforgettable experience that allowed Stuart to combine his love for paddleboarding with his passion for exploring the natural world.
In 2022, Stuart set out on a three-month van tour of the Algarve in Portugal with his stand-up paddleboard and his faithful pup Ella. They explored the stunning coastline and hidden coves, discovering some of the most beautiful and secluded places Portugal has to offer.
Stuart’s experiences on his travels have inspired him to share his adventures with others. He has now turned his attention to writing, and his newfound passion is crafting stories that bring the reader on a journey with him and Ella. Stuart’s writing is filled with vivid descriptions of the natural world, and his love for paddleboarding and his pup Ella shine through in every word.
