Gower Ambassadors we were recently out with Gower AONB learning from Dark Sky Wales how to use Sky Quality Meters to measure the darkness of the night sky.

Tourism Swansea Bay kindly hosted a talk and session before heading out around the village of Parkmill to give the SQMs a try.

A group of Gower Ambassadors will be going out during the winter to take readings at key dark sky spots in Gower that will then be used in the official Gower AONB application to receive Dark Sky Community Status from the International Dark Skies Association!
